Hôtels à Bruxelles

Brussels

Brussels is the administrative centre and the de facto capital of the European Union. It lived its historical zenith during the Middle Ages. It was founded in the 10th century and became famous for the artisan works with cloth, linen and tapestry. Book a room in one of our Brussels hotels and get immersed in the charms of one of the most beautiful European capitals.

What to visit

Brussels combines in a harmonious way its medieval past, thanks to very well preserved buildings, with its cosmopolitan style, given by the fact of being a meeting point of the political and financial life of the continent, and a great amount of hotels.

Our stroll around the city starts in the Grand Place Square, which is surrounded by dozens of buildings, erecting an impressive architectural complex. Near the square, we find one of the symbols of the city, Manneken Pis, a child angel urinating into a fountain. This statue has a female counterpart in Jeanneke Pis. After this walk , started in one of our hotels in Brussels, we will arrive at the Palace of Justice.

We will enjoy the Cathedral of Brussels in the historical centre, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, built in Art Decó style, and the Gothic Notre Dame du Sablon, point for the pilgrimage in the Middle Ages.

We will go to Brussels Park if we want to enjoy some rest in the city centre. The Royal Palace. The royal family does not live there anymore, but it remains as its official headquarters.

The Atomium is, along with Manneken Pis, the most internationally recognised symbol in Brussels. Designed and built for the 1958 Universal Exhibit, is a must see site.

If you want to be infused with the European Spirit, you must visit the European Quarter, where the Parliament lies, and Mini Europe, a park where there are more then 350 models of monuments and symbols of the main cities in the European Union. We will be able to enjoy it after booking in one of our hotels in Brussels.

What to eat

You must try moules frites, french fries sold in any friterie; more than 80 varieties of cheese; its renowned chocolate, and how not, wash it all down with any of its abbey beers. The different hotels offered in Brussels are close to the bar areas, where you will be able to taste a huge variety of beers.
