During 2011, the campaign Hoteles Catalonia with Haiti collected 70,000 USD for the reconstruction of St-Pierre Lamontagne school in Jacmel, a small town affected by the 2010 earthquake. With the support Solidaridad Calasancia Foundation, half of it was a donation from Hoteles Catalonia as a commitment with the community; 24,000 USD were donations from personal contributions in Spain and almost 10,000 were voluntary donations from our colleagues working in the Caribbean properties.

But our commitment with St Pierre Lamontagne school has not finished.

Now it’s time for better tables and desks, more books, school equipment… and we will make our donation following your wishes. Become a fan of Hoteles Catalonia Caribbean on Facebook and share our commitment for Haití; play with us and choose what you want us to donate to the school: desks, books or soccer balls. We will count all the selections (one per fan!) and we will donate the same amount in USD to the school every trimester. The more players we get, the more money we donate. As simple as that!
